WELCOME

American Yoga was founded in 2006 by Monica Schmidt. Recognizing a need for yoga tools specific to Power, Vinyasa/Flow and Acro Yoga, AY was launched by introducing 'Power Paws' and 'Power Straps' in Monica's local yoga classes. The tools were an instant success! American Yoga's e-store was created with the intention of sharing these amazing products with the world...

Monica holds a BS in Exercise Science and has been teaching yoga and fitness classes for 10 years.

Our new mats are in stock and will be available on site June 15th. Our first teachers training will begin in Sept. Please email us with comments, interest, and ideas for the format. Look for a 50 minute vinyasa class to be on the website soon!
