I have been teaching for 28 years! Below is a summary of my education, career highlights, and studio development.
Bachelor of Science, Exercise Science and Health - Florida Atlantic University
Certifications and Continuing Education Workshops: ACE Certified Personal Trainer, NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Yoga Journal Conferences 2001 - 2008, OMEGA Conferences 2002 - 2004.
Weekend Intensives with: Shiva Rea, Bryan Kest, Baron Baptiste, David Swenson, Doug Swenson, and Seane Corn.
2009-2019 opened American Yoga Studio & obtained Yoga Alliance Accreditation: Owner, Director YTT, Principle Yoga Instructor. American Yoga Teacher's Training Program has over 150 graduates from the 200 and/or 300 Hour Programs.

2003 - 2022 - Created & Marketed "Yoga Rocks," the first add-on "ladder" flow class offered in South Florida.

Power Paw - Re-marketed the standard Olympic gymnastic wrist support system and introduced it to the Yoga world.
Power Strap - Created a small loop strap more compatible with Vinyasa than traditional long straps (still available)
Essential Oils - Curated and hand-blended three signature scents: Vinyasa Mix, Rich Fresh Fig, and ShivaNilla
